Crystal-clear Caribbean waters and miles of powder-white coastline have made Cancun into a world-class tropical holiday destination that's perfect for families and solo travellers alike. This Mexican paradise is the definition of holiday heaven – a perfect balance between relaxation and endless entertainment. Cancun's Hotel Zone and beaches offer amazing water sports, day trips to the Mayan ruins, kids clubs, bars, restaurants and endless white-sand beaches. Cancun holidays offer something for everyone.

Exploring the resort isn't too expensive – for a day of fun and adventure in Cancun, dive underwater to explore the Great Mayan Reef, marvel at underground caves of Aktun Chen, visit the picturesque isle of Isla Mujeres, or make a splash at Wet n Wild waterpark. Whether your bucket list features swimming with dolphins, spotting sea turtles or partying the night away, holidays in Cancun are an unforgettable experience. Further inland, you'll discover the taste of real Mexico. Head to the centre of Cancun's old town, rich in history and culture, or take a day trip to see the awe-inspiring 1,500-year-old Mayan archaeological sites of Chichen Itza and Tulum.

Cancun is best visited during the months of March and April, although you can expect it to get a little crowded. Temperatures hover around 25°C and the island treats you with sunbathed beaches and lanes.
